Dr Ferrer-Rosell is an Associate Professor (Serra Hunter Fellow) at the Department of Business Management of the University of Lleida (Spain). Her research interests focus on the application of compositional data analysis (CoDa) to e-marketing and e-tourism. She is co-editor in chief of Journal of Tourism Analysis – Revista de Análisis Turístico and serves on the Editorial Boards of the European Journal of Tourism Research, Journal of Information Technology & Tourism and Consumer Behavior in Tourism and Hospitality. She is also board member at the Asociación Española de Expertos Científicos en Turismo and at the CoDa-Association
